Maglut Heavy Industries is a US-based advanced manufacturing company reimagining how rare-earth elements are processed. Maglut is building a vertically integrated chromatography platform for rare-earth separation by adapting ion-exchange principles used in the production of pharmaceutical medicines. The result is a highly selective process with a credible path to global cost competitiveness and a stronger social license to operate in the US and allied markets. The company is led by cofounders Curtis Wu, an MIT-trained chemical engineer, and Azhar Yerzhanova, a serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist.
